Mountain Trucking, known as Mountain Road Auto Freight, which ran between Tacoma and Yakima and serviced Randle, Packwood and Morton came into being in the mid 1950's. In the 1960's Mountain Trucking changed the core of their business from auto freight to moving and storing household goods. Primarily for Ft. Lewis and McChord AFB. |

Owners
Ed and Marilyn Tuohy purchased Mountain Trucking Co. from Drake Transportation in March of 1996. At that time the operating name of the company was changed to Mountain Moving & Storage. Ed has worked in the moving industry since 1973 as a driver, dispatch, and operations management. Now he runs, and is a co-owner of Mountain Moving & Storage.
